OIL BOTTLES

These are in tinplate with cork stoppers on chains. Three sizes are available. 2 gallon, 1 gallon or half gallon. These bottles were a common sight in shed yards or on locomotives, the lopsided handles help the oil pour more easily. The Isle of Man engines carry them in front of the smokebox to keep the oil more fluid.
